Meeting 9

Our Ninth week we will look at Lifestyle Factors that affect Health.

This week our theme question is - What lifestyle factors might be worth looking at and investing in?

Some sub-questions may be -

  • Is my rest and sleep supporting my health?

  • Do i have the tools i need to keep stress low?

  • Is Self Care my personal culture or is it worth spending more focus on?

This week’s practice:

Pay close attention to Self Talk this week. Notice any inner dialogue around food, particularly around foods that are on a ‘restricted’ list. Notice any unsupportive self talk. Practice first noticing and naming - “here I am, being (hard/mean/disparaging) toward myself”. Practice changing that comment to an affirmative. “I accept myself”. “I am empowered to make any choice I want in this situation”. “I love all of myself”. Come up with your own favorite self supporting mantra..
