Meeting 11

Week 11 is our penultimate class! We will journey through an overview of our Course material, focusing on key takeaways. This will include topics such as food choices, food hygiene (eating habits), cooking tips, microbiome support, supplementation, cleanse/detox, intermittent fasting, lifestyle factors including stress and sleep.

In Week 12 we will focus on these takeaways by going through key topics and discussing what you’ve learned, your personal experience with it, what you want to explore moving forward, and what tools you have as you step into the future as you continue on your journey to optimize health.




This week we will cover:

  • Food choices for health and for enjoyment - and where they intersect

  • New discoveries in food and cooking

  • Fermentation favorites and adventures to come

  • How will you support your microbiome moving forward?

  • Are supplements on the docket? If so, which ones?

  • How do you envision your long term feast/fast balance looking?

  • What cleanses and focused detoxing are in your future?

  • What other areas of your environment are important to your health journey?

  • How does stress weigh in?

  • Self-awareness, Self-talk, Self-care, Self-love - assessment time

This week’s practice:

Spend 5 minutes each morning sitting quietly, ideally right when you wake up before interacting with others, or phones, etc. Sit vertically, whether on the floor or in a chair, back straight without leaning (if possible). Watch the breath. Simply watch. Anytime you notice thoughts or distraction, put your awareness back on the breath.
